Character: Clive Rosfield Canon: Final Fantasy XVI
CR: Clive might be new to the Grove yet but he's already joined in a fight to kill a God, died to said God when he turned his brother on him, and is now pouring over a copy of the map to try and pinpoint locations to hit that may weaken that God. He also really hates Gods, told Winter to fuck off, but because she showed herself to be human, joined with Beiwe as her Sun Priest. Lifes weird, man.
Clive is a rough and tumble outlaw type who happens to be a vessel for a God (see why he hates them), and is working towards a world where people can live and die on their own terms, with nothing and no one controlling them but them. He has a good heart, and cares for those he considers his family (hint it's a lot of people), and will murder for his brother. He's not the bookish type, but if you need someone to hit hard and keep an enemy down, he's your man. He's also fantastic for fetch quests.
He's also the dominant of Ifrit and can shift into him as well as merely semi-shift into him. He can also call upon the other elements as well to weild them to his advantage. Due to being a vessel he WAS immune to the curse that eventually petrifies them, but his death and the forest jumpstarted that. So now there's another thing he has to take down.
Plans: As much as he'd love to go with his brother to investigate the tree, he trusts Joshua on his own with others and instead will be exploring as far as the fog wall will allow him. He will be looking for anything associated with the Black Sun that may be destroyed to weaken him. Barring that, he will be looking for ways to empower his own Goddess (and thus himself to take Suri down).
He's also going to get a dragon blessing and have cute little ifrit horns and fangies because it's adorable.
Clive. Yes, I know. They named him Clive.
